About the role:

As Lead QA Engineer at Allocator, you will be responsible for implementing and advancing our QA processes and practices. The ideal candidate is an organized, methodical professional with the experience necessary to take our products to the next level with respect to the accuracy, security, and safety. You will be charged with developing a complete QA program and act as the primary owner for organizing testing schemes and cycles, both automated and black box. You’ll interact daily with the CTO, Lead Developer, Head of Product, and other team members to understand our domain and generate exhaustive use cases to ensure the stability and quality of standards of our various applications and platforms.

What you will do:

  • Organize and run exhaustive test cases in local, staging, and production environments
  • Implement coverage for existing RoR platform (Unit and integration)
  • Devise, plan and implement automated testing methods for non-standard cases
  • Mitigate and minimize technical debt to ensure the software and product platform scale through growth

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years QA experience
  • Ruby 2.6+, RoR 5.2+
  • Rspec, factory bot, capybara, and other related automated testing tools
  • Basic database expertise. PG knowledge is a plus
  • Deployment and CI tools
